About this site
amindi-tbilisi.com automatically publishes weather forecasts, air quality and climate statistics for Georgia, primarily Tbilisi. Pages refresh every hour without any manual work.
Data sources
- Open-Meteo.com — weather forecasts (blending several national weather-service models), licensed CC BY 4.0.
- National Environmental Agency of Georgia (air.gov.ge) — hourly readings from air-quality monitoring stations.
- Copernicus CAMS (via Open-Meteo) — modelled air-quality forecast.
- ERA5 / Copernicus — historical data for climate normals.
Methodology
AQI is computed with the US EPA (2024) scale from the NowCast of PM2.5 and PM10. A city value is the median of its stations; where there is no station, a modelled estimate is shown and clearly labelled.
Climate normals are computed from daily data for the last 10 complete years; the "versus normal" comparison uses a ±3-day window.
Update frequency
Data and pages refresh every hour. A new daily bulletin is added to the archive each day.
